The Care Chair

We are designing a chair to alleviate the stress put on the knees of our seniors. My solution is a chair that has the seat propped up by a spring so that it allows for easy mobility past the 45 degree angle. I designed a website where you can learn more about my project and purchase a chair for yourself. I also designed a few 3D printed prototypes that I altered with wood. I also learned how to laser cut so I could make a bigger and better prototype that has working springs and hinge.
