On May 18th I had people review my project and give feedback on my project.
People said that the idea was amazing and that there are a lot of possibilities for an accessory to a chair rather than making a whole chair.
Thank you for coming to support and give feedback on my project,“The Care Chair”. I have gotten a lot of good feedback and it’s changed the thinking of my project by not so much working on the chair itself but making an addon to a chair. Also, comfortability is a big deal breaker for people, especially the elderly and less mobile. With that realization I will add cushions to my design. A positive feedback/idea was adding hydraulics to the chair instead of a spring. I have chosen to pivot my project in a new direction. Instead of inventing a chair I am going to create a business plan in which I would sell the chair. I need to create a way to profit off of this chair, then make a website where I could gain that profit. I appreciate all the feedback that I've received. I invite you to the STEAM Expo on May 18th at 6:30pm.
